Updates of Gemology Tools Professional via Download: If you purchased Gemology Tools Professional within the last 365 days (one calendar year) you can download the program for free. If you require a CD the cost is $9.95. $9.95 allows you to download the program from our site and receive a CD. Proof of prior purchase is required but you don’t need a receipt. Why is GT Pro such a bargain? Because GT Pro has more information and functionality than any book. If you were to buy a book with half of the listings and photographs in the Gemstone Database you would pay at least $75 for it. You would pay at least $95 for a book with all of our inclusion photographs. It would cost you about $60 for a book of gem and diamond weight estimation formulas BUT the book won't automatically do the calculations for you! So, in a best case scenario you would have to pay around $230 (possibly MUCH more) for these three books. This is about $160 MORE than GT Pro) for less information and functionality.
